Privacy policy

עצה Etza is a private public-affairs intelligence tool for institutional research, lookup, comparison, and outreach preparation. Etza is designed for organizational use and does not sell personal information, serve third-party advertising, or track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Information Etza may collect or process

Account and support information may include your name, email address, organization, app version, support messages, and related troubleshooting details.

Organization data may include records that your organization chooses to enter, import, connect, or review in Etza, such as contacts, offices, roles, jurisdictions, districts, affiliations, notes, and matching decisions.

Integration data may include authorization tokens, identifiers, metadata, and records needed to connect Etza to services your organization authorizes, such as Salesforce.

Public-record data may include officials, offices, governing bodies, jurisdictions, bills, votes, committees, caucuses, affiliations, public statements, public webpages, and other public source records used for lookup, comparison, and analysis.

Technical data may include logs, device and app diagnostics, IP address, request metadata, authentication events, and server or API activity needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve Etza.

How information is used

Etza uses information to provide authentication, lookup, matching, comparison, reporting, support, integration, security, auditing, and reliability functions.

Etza may also use information to investigate errors, prevent misuse, maintain service integrity, improve product quality, and respond to support or legal requests.

How information is shared

Etza does not sell personal information. Etza does not share personal information with third parties for third-party advertising.

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate infrastructure, authentication, hosting, analytics, error monitoring, email, or customer support. These providers are expected to process information only as needed to provide services to Etza.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, legal process, security necessity, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, organizations, Etza, or the public.

Organization controls and authorized integrations

If your organization connects Etza to an external system, such as Salesforce, your organization controls what it authorizes Etza to access. You should review your organization's internal policies and the external service's privacy and security terms before connecting an integration.

Etza is intended to support human review of matches and data completion decisions. Organizations are responsible for confirming that imported, matched, or exported records are appropriate for their own use.

Data retention

Etza keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service, support organizational workflows, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, secure systems, and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion or correction of information by contacting hello@etza.app. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal, audit, backup, or operational reasons.

Security

Etza uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so Etza cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Etza is not directed to children and is intended for use by organizations, professional staff, and authorized users. Etza does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Etza may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
